Hi everyone! I'm always wondering what movies are coming out and I could not be happier when I saw this was coming out. Taking Woodstock is the story of Elliot Tiber, the wonderful man who put the famous sixties music festival Woodstock together. Tiber is played by Demetri Martin, commonly known for his show on Comedy Central, Important Things with Demetri Martin. The other main roles are filled by Liev Schreiber, Jeffery Dean Morgan, Kevin Chamberlin, and Emile Hirsch. Now I'm going to stop acting like I didn't just go to imdb.com to see if I spelled everyones' names right, and tell you what I really think about this movie. The first time I even saw the poster I got excited! If you don't know me personally, than you don't know my obsession with the sixties and hippies. So, a Woodstock movie? You will see me there opening night no doubt! I wonder if I should wear my Woodstock t-shirt that resembles the original Woodstock tees, I went through a living-in-the-sixties phase last summer. But I understand all you Cartman jerks(little Southpark reference here)who hate hippies, are either a) not even reading this anymore, or b) will not be seeing Taking Woodstock, but guess what I have to say to that? Frankly my dear I don't give a damn. But know this, you will be missing what I hope to be one of the best movies of the summer. It got an 8.1 out of 10 on imdb, it has to be good!
